Reporting Engine Overview
The MyOPAC Reports module allows you to extract, filter, and analyze any data within your library system. Librarians can access pre-built reports or construct custom reporting queries using standard SQL under the /librarian/reports portal.
Chart-Based Analytics
Raw numbers are easier to understand when visualized. MyOPAC includes built-in interactive chart analysis tools powered by Recharts:
- Circulation Trends: Visualize checkouts, renewals, and returns over weekly, monthly, or yearly periods using line and bar charts.
- Fund Allocation & Spending: View pie charts showing fund utilization to quickly identify which academic divisions have spent their acquisitions budget.
- Popular Titles & Categories: Track patron interest with column charts displaying top borrowed books and active reader categories.

You can test the reporting suite and explore live chart visualizations without any setup using our pre-configured sandbox:
- Login at /librarian using the credentials:
[email protected]/Demo@12345. - Go to the Reports tab in the sidebar.
- Select Acquisitions Statistics or Circulation Reports to see real-time chart overlays generated from the seeded sandbox data.
