We've introduced voice search in Urdu, making it easier than ever for patrons to find what they're looking for.
Instead of typing a search query, patrons can simply tap the microphone icon and speak their request in Urdu. The system understands natural spoken Urdu and matches it against titles, authors, and subjects in the catalog.
This is especially useful for patrons who are more comfortable speaking than typing, or searching on the go from a mobile device. It's part of our ongoing push to make the catalog accessible to every patron, in the language they're most comfortable with.
